MGA Homecare is Hiring a RN New Graduate Program Manager Near Scottsdale, AZ

Company Description

MGA Homecare specializes in providing private duty nursing, personal care services, and therapy to the medically complex population. We deliver high-quality care in the home and community-based setting, the setting which is the lowest cost to the payers. We aim to be the employer of choice and the partner of choice to referral sources, state government agencies, and health plans. We currently provide care in Arizona, Colorado, Texas, North Carolina, Washington, and Tennesee with a plan to grow into new states and markets. 

We are growing and have an immediate opening for a Healthcare Recruiterto join our new Memphis Team! This position is located on-site at our Memphis office and eligible for working remotely. Please note, this is not an HR role. This position sits on our Sales Operations Team. In this role, you'll have the rewarding responsibility of finding qualified healthcare professionals to place in the homes of families with medically fragile children.

The salary range for this position is up to $55,000 plus quarterly bonuses based on performance. Full benefits are available on the first of the month after 30 days of employment.

Job Description

Program Development, Management and Evaluation

  • Development of the New Graduate Residency Program curriculum.
  • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, and transition of all new graduates accepted to the residency program.
  • Manage multiple new graduate classes simultaneously.
  • Assist in all areas of program development and evaluation to ensure that program is effective, efficient, and consistent with the organization’s mission and goals.

Marketing

    • Partners with agency’s business development efforts to develop and manage relationships with local nursing schools.
    • Assist MGA’s marketing department on a New Graduate Residency Program marketing strategy, including collateral, social media, and position postings.
    • Manage the interviewing and selection of the new graduates for the Residency Program.
    • Work with HR to get new graduates through the application and hiring process.
  • Training
    • Responsible for the classroom and lab component of the Residency Program. Evaluates the new graduates and approves movement into the in-home phase of the Residency Program.
    • Works with agency on placement of new graduates into the appropriate home setting and ensures in-home preceptors are appropriate to create a conducive learning and patient care experience.
    • Responsible for appraising performance; including lab and in-home supervision; rewarding and disciplining new graduates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
    • Facilitate career path discussions with new graduates to ensure desired paths are followed throughout new graduates first year of employment with MGA.
  • Track and analyze data trends to identify areas of improvement in the Residency Program.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Assures compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding licensure and certification of organization personnel and maintains compliance to the accrediting body standards.
  • Attends developmental in-services, readily seeks available continuing education to remain current in the field.
  • Supports and executes the mission, ethics, and goals of the company effectively.
  • Represents themselves in a positive and professional manner in the company and community.
  • Adheres to dress code with a clean and neat professional appearance.
  • Reports on time and as scheduled in order to complete work within designated time.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures outlined in Employee Handbook, Employee Agreement, or communicated from executive team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • State Current license with no restrictions or demonstrate equivalent experience providing direct oversight of clinical staff
  • Experience with supervising licensed staff and providing clinical supervision
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work both individually and as part of a team in a fast paced, professional environment.
