Position Summary
The Machine Operator operates the CNC machine to cut and build rollers. Sets up and operates a variety of machines.
- Performs machine shop and mold press operations to support Assembly
- Detects defective materials and questionable conditions and reports to the manager
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition
- Follows safety regulations
- Performs preventative maintenance on machines
- Employees are responsibleto complywith all requirements ofDaifuku'sQMS policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Ability to use a band saw, hand tools and calipers and perform milling, turning, drilling, taping, deburring, molding, and all bench operations
- Ability to read blueprints
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of standard and metric measurements
- Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Team orientation
