The Senior Network Administrator will be responsible for operation, engineering, design, and architecture of the data network environment globally. The Senior Network Administrator will be responsible for providing implementation, technical expertise, guidance & support for all WuXi ATU network equipment. This position will require interaction with application development teams, IT associates, and third-party service providers. The Senior Network Administrator will be performing network design and project support for the company’s global and site network infrastructure including, but not limited to, switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and wireless LANs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, install, and support complex network solutions in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Responsible for architecting, configuring, and securing critical cloud and corporate network solutions.• In-depth knowledge of designing and building cloud network infrastructure (Azure, AWS, etc.) • Deep knowledge in routing and switching to include multicast, OSPF, BGP, STP Proficient level and hands-on experience with Cisco Routing and Switching Product family • Operational experience in Network Security Devices (Fortinet, Cisco Firepower) Familiarity with Cisco Identity Services Engine or similar NAC products • Experience designing and supporting in installing complex networks to include such technologies as MPLS, VPN, 802.11,802.1x• Resolve incidents and execute changes according to defined SOPs• Assess network performance and capacity management and recommend appropriate actions• Projects – LAN/WAN/Wireless/Security design and implementation• Support network projects and be a resource to projects requiring network expertise• Work with third party providers to deliver network services, i.e. telecom carriers, etc.• Proactively identify opportunities to improve network design and management• Establishes key metrics for monitoring and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).• Knowledgeable in LAN switching and routing (Cisco, Juniper, VMWare NSX, &Versa)• Knowledgeable in physical and virtual network and security devices• Wireless networking: Cisco, Meraki, Aruba• MPLS and SDWAN environments• VoIP and QoS • Firewall administration (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)• External business partner connectivity• Network Load balancing • Network Security administration • Must have a good understanding of ITIL• Good working knowledge of business applications, networks, and Windows workstations.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail. • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills• Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization• Experience working with IT leadership to articulate networking/connectivity strategies and plans• Self-motivated with the ability to function independently with minimal supervision in a deadline driven work environment.• Understanding of computer systems validation is desired.• Experience in implementing networks in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments• Ability to work in a team environment and independently as required • Contributes to project planning and scheduling.• Producing high level and detailed technical designs and documentation for complex technical solutions. Mapping requirements onto practical, maintainable solutions, taking into account cost, quality and complexity.• Participate in Architecture design reviews and other technical governance forums across the organization representing the infrastructure team across multiple projects.• Be on call and available after business hours, (Holidays and weekends)• Establish and maintain pertinent policies, standards, and procedures • Perform duties in compliance with applicable regulations and standards such as Sarbanes Oxley Act, FDA Quality System, and ISO (International Organization for Standardization)
• In country and international travel
• Perform related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant Science Field preferred or equivalent in working expertise,
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience preferred
• CISSP optional
• CCNP or CCDP preferred
• Travel may be required up to 10% to other US/EU sites
