Job Location: Shanghai / Nantong (Qidong), China

Responsibilities

• Build a productive team, retain talent and foster a culture of support and proactivity.
• Strengthen and develop strategic relationships with current and potential customers, clients and industry partners
• Troubleshoot and manage research and administration-related issues to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Undertake scientific searches on pharmacology/oncology/immunology/ molecular biology and then evaluate information for projects.
• Advanced ability in performing and analyzing immunological assays/in vivo/ex vivo assays/cell-based functional assays. Be responsible for the evaluation of biological activities and characterize the underlying mechanism of immune modulation effect of therapeutic leads.
• Validate new methodologies, process improvement and provide technical knowledge in immunology and flow cytometry.

Qualifications

• PhD degree in immunology, pharmacology, cell/molecular biology or a related discipline; Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in industry or academia preferred;
• Demonstrate good laboratory skills in in vitro/ in vivo assay such as cell culture, primary immune cells isolation and activity test, knockout and overexpression cell line construction, FACS, western blot, HTRF, AlphaLISA, establishing in vivo models etc. Expertise in standard immunologic techniques;
• Previous experience in immune assay/in vivo/ex vivo assays/cell-based functional assays development and molecular biology is highly desired;
• Strong problem solving and analytic skills, able to work independently and collaborate with various teams;
• Enjoy working within a dynamic environment and has the ability to manage and priorities multiple tasks;
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and oversee a team of scientists and technicians;
• Effective written and communication skills in Chinese and English. Summarize data, present to the investigators and groups of various levels. Accurate and timely experimental reports and logging of results in electronic laboratory notebooks in English.
