The Role:

 Reporting to the Marketing Operation Development Manager, the Analyst role is responsible for working within the Marketing Operations Development team to design, build and maintain applications that support member marketing communication execution and automation. This is an entry-level role with an opportunity to gain experience developing applications and advance SQL and developer skills. The position requires writing and debugging code, so we are looking for applicants with a basic understanding of Java, HTML, and Python. This role also requires experience using SQL to update and retrieve data. This position is currently remote, with the potential to work in an office in the future. • Work as part of the Marketing Operations Development team to build marketing automation. 
• Utilize Python, Smartsheet, Azure, and Microsoft SQL Server to develop solutions based on stakeholder needs
• Follow the peer review standards in place to reduce errors 
• Brainstorm and operationalize ideas for automation to streamline current processes
• Create branches in GitHub with requirements template for developer consistency
• Manage version control through development, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and production environments
• Ensure the development process is auditable at every step 
• Write and update SQL query templates for mail file creation
• Work with large data sets to create reporting dashboards and manage production files
