This Opportunity

WSP is currently seeking Senior CMT Technicians with experience, or strong desire to gain expertise, in soils, concrete, aggregate, asphalt, and classification testing to join our team in Los Angeles, CA.

Your Impact

• Perform a full range of Laboratory Testing on soil, aggregate, rock, concrete, and asphalt and other materials in accordance with AASHTO, ASTM and Caltrans procedures.
• Communicate regularly with laboratory manager, clients and contractors to convey results and schedule requests
• Dependable and reliable
• Prepare and submit accurate, legible, comprehensive and complete testing and/or inspection reports on a daily basis in accordance with established quality procedures
• Perform analysis or calculations to check accuracy, applicability and reasonableness of testing data.
• Maintains assigned equipment and related calibration
• Follows safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects; performs pre-task planning prior to executing work; report any safety issues or concerns to management

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician-Grade I
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must pass drug test, fit for duty physical Physical Demands Applicants must have the ability to:
  • Work in varying environments (lab and field settings)
  • Perform physically demanding field work (outside summer temperatures)
  • Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-5 years of related experience

Compensation and Benefits: 
WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career. 

Expected Salary: $38,000-$68,400
