Your Impact

Duties and Responsibilities:

·Assist and support our client PM on managing of roadway design projects.

·Provide technical support in various stages of project, including preliminary design, final design and contract documentation including cost estimates and specifications;

·Discuss and propose solutions to technical issues during design;

·Coordinating with other design consultants.

·Develop memorandums and other written technical documents

·Assist\review plans, specifications, and bid packages;

·Support projects by attending meetings and interacting with agency officials, and contractors 

·Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

·Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related degree.

·3 years of professional experience post graduation. (or equivalent working knowledge/experience)

·Good technical writing, analytical and communication skills

·Proficiency in (Bentley OpenRoad Designer).

·Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills.

·Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products.

Preferred Qualifications:

·Experience working in CDOT projects

·Professional Engineer (PE) License for the state of Illinois or ability to obtain in 6 months.

·Experience using ArcGIS

·Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
• Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements
