What You Will Do:

As a Senior Project Manager, you are:

* Responsible for all aspects of multiple complex projects and clients from the proposal process to the final invoice with increased proficiency and efficiency.

* Responsible for directing, managing and teaching staff technical and business development aspects of the engineering industry.

* Work collaboratively with other project managers to enhance plan production.

* You will plan, direct, and coordinate all project activities including client meetings, public hearings, and open houses to ensure that projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frames and budgets.

* You will anticipate client needs, biases, and preferences and tailor communication and work output accordingly.

* You will also lead, coordinate and delegate work to multiple work teams working in multiple locations.

* Formulate, track and meet project budgets and schedules.

* Maintain open and effective communication with clients as well as internal and external stakeholders.

* Prepare or coordinate preparation of all project / client correspondence and documentation.

* You will participate in and lead business development activities to new and existing clients through the following activities: plans, leads and participates in client meetings and networking events; develops new client contacts and relationships in all areas of expertise and geographic regions; identify, suggest, and secure projects from new and existing clients; and work to secure alternative funding sources.

What You Will Bring:

The successful candidate must have:

* A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school.

* Registration as a professional engineer in Minnesota (or the ability to obtain Minnesota registration within six months).

* 10 transportation experience.

* Experience in managing transportation projects, clients and staff in Minnesota.

* A history in delivering projects with positive customer service experiences, a positive attitude, as well as a willingness to learn.

* The ability and desire to develop an understanding of, or even anticipate the client's needs, is a plus.

* A valid drivers license and good driving record are also required.
