What you will do: 

The Contract Support Specialist is responsible for the upkeep of contract records, preparing change orders, and as-built drawings and processing contractors’ payments.

• Ability to: Communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
• Responsible for: Exercising independent initiative to help relieve supervisor of administrative duties, tasks, and other projects as assigned.
• Responsible for: Assisting the Project Administrator in office related duties (i.e., MAC, progress meetings, monthly and final estimates, EEO compliance, processing construction contract changes, data upload, submittal tracking, staff certifications, etc.)
• Responsible for: Project specific work under the general supervision of the Senior Project Engineer and staff.
• Review and approve daily inspection reports.
• Must be able to independently interpret work details from the field and make technical decisions related to office operations.

What you will bring:

• Contract Support experience in in the Fort Lauderdale (Broward County, Palm Beach & West Palm Beach) area. 

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with Final Estimate Level 1 & 2; and four (4) years of road & bridge construction engineering inspection (CEI) experience having performed/assisted in project-related duties (i.e., PRC, progress and final estimates, EEO compliance, processing Construction Contract changes, etc.) or a Civil Engineering Degree.

• CEI Contract Support Specialist: 4 years (Required)
• Experienced with standard word processing and data management software.
• Natural ability to communicate with and interact with all levels of internal and external customers.
