The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of our facilities.
Responsibilities:
Water Quality Lead:
o Conduct regular testing of water quality parameters, including pH, chlorine levels, alkalinity, and other relevant factors.
o Analyze test results and implement adjustments to maintain optimal water quality and safety standards.
o Monitor and ensure compliance with local health department regulations and industry standards.
Team Leadership:
o Build and lead a high-performing facilities team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
o Foster a positive and collaborative team environment to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Chemical Management:
o Manage the procurement, storage, and usage of water treatment chemicals.
o Develop and implement a chemical dosing schedule to maintain proper water balance.
o Conduct regular inventory checks and reorder supplies as needed.
Compliance and Safety:
o Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
o Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
Space Planning and Utilization:
o Collaborate with department heads to optimize space utilization and plan for future space requirements.
o Oversee office relocations, renovations, and expansions as needed.
Technology Implementation:
o Utilize facilities management software and technology tools to streamline operations, including work orders, asset tracking, and maintenance schedules.
o Utilize provided automation to ensure proper facilities standards.
Equipment Maintenance:
o Oversee the maintenance and operation of pool filtration and circulation systems.
o Schedule and perform routine inspections of equipment to identify and address issues promptly.
o Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and upgrades.
Staff Training:
o Train and educate pool staff on water quality control procedures and safety protocols.
o Conduct regular training sessions to update staff on the latest industry standards and best practices.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
o Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, vendors, and management.
o Provide regular updates on facilities-related matters and address inquiries promptly.
Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate records of water quality test results, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance.
o Prepare and submit regular reports to management and health authorities as required.
