WHO we’re lookingfor:

We are looking for SoftwareDevelopment Engineer - Test, who is an experienced QA engineer to design test cases, automate and perform testexecution for Knox Products including requirement gathering, design analysis, test case review. Theideal candidate is E2E Full Stack QA with expertise in BE API Automation &validation. Candidate is also expected to have knowledge in Testing concepts,client-server Applications and Android Testing.

TheDevelopment QA (DQA) Lab acts as thecentralized hub for quality solutions. Our mission is to providecomprehensive E2E test strategy, coverage, and automation solutions for earlyIssue detection with unbiased quality assessment for MPS deliverables. DQAplays a pivotal role in developing next gen automation tools and test solutionsfor products, services and solutions build on AR/VR headsets, Android, and PCplatforms.

Role andResponsibilities:

• Understand the business requirements, Create & execute test cases covering E2E scenarios.
• Dive deep into design/architecture alongside with requirements to design cases.
• Defect debugging, logging and defect tracking until bug closure.
• Build maintainable, high quality and effective automated tests for Android application & Backend APIs ensuring comprehensive test coverage
• Design and create test strategies for Android native applications, RESTful APIs and web applications.
• Design, Implement and maintain robust test automation frameworks, tools, and services.
• Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting performance testing systems and strategies.
• Takes ownership/responsibility for the product quality during monthly releases
• Co-ordinate with program management, Developers and QA leads.
• Help in building Engineering culture that enables quality in all software features across Knox services.

RequiredExperience and Education:

• 4-6 years overall QA experience with at least 3 years of Server API automation/performance engineering experience and 1 year of Android application test experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field.
• Excellent understanding of Android, RESTful APIs and related concepts.
• Experience continuous integration and deployment tools (GitHub Actions/Jenkins/CircleCI).
• Hands-on experience in development and maintenance of automation frameworks.
• Excellent understanding of QA methodologies and QA Process.

Necessary Skillsand Attributes:

• Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
• Strong CodingSkills in Java and/or Python.
• Good debugging skills using log analytics like Kibana.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normallyperiodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectualchallenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. Mayrequire working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
