WHO we’re looking for:
We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst - Mobile SCM for the central supply chain management group in the Mobile division. This team is focused on managing end-to-end supply chain processes within mobile. In addition, providing business insights and recommendations with data. You are expected to be hands-on and will be responsible to assist the VP of Supply Chain for daily and weekly reporting activities as well as the Sell-In, Sell-Out, and Supply management. Key reports include demand, WoS, production, sell-in/sell-out performance, market insights, Current Month Forecasting, weekly dashboards and status updates. In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring key SCM systems, looking for outliers and anomalies and working to resolve issues with customer account teams and IT groups. You will need a strong business analytics experience and can articulate the insights and recommendations to drive business decisions at various levels in a fast-paced, matrix organization.
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Weekly prepare Global forecast analysis and Operations Newsletter comparisons of actuals to various forecast plans.
  • Weekly prepare SCM KPI report (including Forecast Accuracy) and follow up with accounts.
  • Crisis Contingency Tracking (report daily on Safety Stock, and Inventory as well as other contingency items like daily market impacts (store closures, competitive research online etc.)
  • 7 other weekly reports will be transitioned to this person.
  • Integrate data, create dashboards, develop insights and recommendations for assigned devices and customer accounts.
  • Monitor SCM system data on a daily basis and be responsible for ensuring the inputs to 1 key system are flowing correctly.
  • Ad Hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Provide reporting direct to VP of Supply Chain and leadership team.
  • Evaluate market and industry dynamics and consumer insights.
  • Assist in creating presentations with compelling data driven story to share with leadership, cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Adapt to a changing environment, flexing to support other SCM planning functions with analytics and reporting when needed.
  • With leadership direction, collaborate with carrier account teams, sales and operational teams to actively engage to drive recommendations.
Required Experience and Education:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SCM, data and business analytics for a marketing, sales and/or operations functions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Strong business acumen and quantitative background to analyze and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Excel is a must have, to create consistent reporting, building models.
  • Experience of working with Telecom, Consumer Electronics, CPG and/or Retail industry in supply chain, business, marketing, finance and sales operations management strongly preferred.

  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
  • Strong presentation skills to present the data and analysis with good Microsoft PowerPoint capabilities and articulating insights from analysis is a plus.
  • Ability to quickly capture, understand, synthesize, summarize, and draw insights from constantly changing information.
  • Collaborative mindset to work with the leadership to continuously improve the methodologies and messaging based on changing priorities and business environment.

Requires considerable (90% ) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.
Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
