JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Office Assistant
Department: Systems, USA
Reports To: Office Manager, USA
Status: full-time, non-exempt
Location: (Byron Center office, remote on Fridays)
Salary Level: N; Hourly; $21-23 per hour
PURPOSE:
Serve at the front desk for World Renew’s US headquarters to greet visitors, provide telephone coverage, and provide administrative and facility support for World Renew.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide telephone coverage; arrange for telephone back-up as needed, respond appropriately to all telephone calls and connect callers to the appropriate destination in World Renew
2. Receive and greet agency reception visitors and furnish information in-person or on the telephone; respond to general requests for information and material(s) and ensure appropriate handling of all general correspondence
3. Maintain the reception, common area, kitchen and supply room and ensure kitchen and promotional items are stocked, as well as assist with inventory and ordering of building and office supplies.
4. Manage common room reservations and set-up for World Renew staff and outside users.
5. Manage the ingoing and outgoing mail
6. Assist with inventory and ordering of building and office supplies.
7. Enter information into the database system as needed.
8. Perform other duties as assigned

9. Ability to process and handle confidential matters and be professional, cooperative, and patient
10. Demonstrated ability to perform simple mathematical problems and computer knowledge of all MS Office and Google Suite products is required including competency in database utilization (data entry and retrieval)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
1. High School diploma or equivalent required
2. At least two years of work experience in office administration is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be fluent in English; possess well-developed communication skills both verbally and in writing.
