Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring efficient and effective office procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of general ledger accounting. Responsibilities: - Manage and coordinate administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence - Maintain and update office records and files - Prepare financial reports, including general ledger reconciliation and account reconciliation - Process accounts receivable and ensure timely payment collection - Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting - Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff members - Oversee inventory management and ordering of office supplies - Provide support to the executive team as needed Skills: - Proficient in general ledger accounting principles and practices - Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and account reconciliation - Experience working with accounting software such as Sage or Xero - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
