Position Title:Inventory Control Coordinator Department: Storage Facility and Warehouse
Reports To:Manager of Storage Facility and Warehouse Job Class: Full-Time
Position Status:Non-Exempt
OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:
The Inventory Control Coordinator is primary responsible for ensuring that Intacct is updated daily, reflecting the changes in inventory resulting from the issuing and receiving of materials To perform overall floor operations within the Storage Facility pertaining to receiving and issuing raw, retail, and office materials.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITIES:
- Responsible for receiving, logging, and delivering of packages
- Prepares supply orders for distribution within the Ministry
- Organizes daily activities for overall operations
- Conducts inventories in accordance with policies and procedures
- Communicates effectively and work with Materials Control Manager and other members of the Ministry staff
- Responsible for adjusting inventory - receiving purchase orders in and out of Intacct system
- Opening and closing duties responsibilities as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) guidelines
- Receiving and maintaining Purchase orders
- Assisting in maintaining a well-organized and clean facility
- Constantly establishing new processes to save revenue for the Ministry
- Cycle Counting – department inventory
- Position has a job share responsibility with Facilities and Maintenance
- All other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License (most deliveries are made by operating a Box Truck)
- Great communication skills
- Ability to operate a Forklift is a plus; however not required
- Great organizational skills
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma required
EXPERIENCE:
- At least one (1) year experience in Warehousing
EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:
- Back Brace for support in lifting or moving objects
- Gloves
