Position Goal: To schedule the manufacturing of CritiCore products ensuring that customer needs and delivery dates are met. Uncovers issues in production and then works to solve them ensuring the least customer impact. Strives to make CritiCore a leader in the Controlled Environment markets by helping achieve unparalleled manufacturing performance.
Brief Overview of Position: This position serves as Production Planner for all divisions of CritiCore (Uniform, Transportation, and Allergy), but may focus within a specific area(s). The Production Planner works closely with outside and inside sales to develop plans and to quote ship dates helping CritiCore win and fulfill orders. Manufacturing for products, both for stock and made-to-order items, are planned and scheduled by this position with a focus on optimizing both speed and meeting commitments to the customer. The Production Planner also monitors production and schedules to identify and pending issues in delivery prior to due dates to the customer, and then works to resolve the issues and sales of any still pending problems.
General knowledge of the purchasing and flow of raw materials and finished goods through a complete supply chain, to include domestic and overseas suppliers, is important for this position. The Production Planner will also work to set and maintain inventory levels of finished goods to support on-time delivery to customers. Success will be evaluated by on-time delivery from the vendors and to the customer, control of inventory levels, and overall adherence of company values.
