During these difficult times, more people with disabilities are in of need assistance and we need more dedicated staff to provide high quality support to these individuals.
As a job coach, you will work one-on-one with a small caseload of adults and support them in their jobs in a multitude of working environments. You will go home at the end of the day knowing that you helped your clients succeed, made a difference in their life, and helped them grow their skills.
REQUIREMENTS
Willing to work effectively and independently in either:
The Portland/East Portland area
The Beaverton/Tigard area
Desire to help others succeed
Skills to work effectively independently
Excellent communication skills
Flexibility with respect to hours of work to match client needs
PREFERENCES
Training and/or interest in the field of developmental disabilities
JOB DUTIES:
Provide on-site job coaching and support
Helping clients stay on task
Help client communicate with their employer and co-workers
Complete and submit accurate and timely documentation
Collaborate with client and their employer to provider a supportive work environment
HOURS AND PAY
$20.50/hour to $22.50/hour
Full-time - schedule will align with clients' work schedules
