The mission of the Communications Coordinator is to create a professional and unified experience for employees, customers, business partners, and the public. This position will be outward facing through various medias and serve as limited support for all team members.

About the Employer:
"Our team specializes in commercial construction, including: exterior and interior remodel, renovation and new builds, as well as tenant improvements to retail or commercial spaces. We believe honesty and integrity are crucial when partnering on all projects to ensure an outstanding building experience."

Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's license to travel to construction sites, mileage reimbursed
- Social Media familiarity (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Familiarity with Apple Phone products (iPhone) and experience with troubleshooting iPhones
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Preferred (Not Required)
- Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar graphic design
- Photography experience
- Drone license
- Website management (WordPress now, moving to Squarespace)
- Some college, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree with a focus in communications, marketing, business, or related subjects

Employer Notes/Schedule:
- Drug test and background check prior to employment
- Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Ideal candidate demonstrate excellent phone etiquette (greetings, information processing, problem solving, etc.) and verbal/written skills

Public Relations/Marketing:
- Collaborate with Director of Development to create, implement, and maintain strategic marketing plan
- Disseminate all external marketing
- Attend off-site events as needed promoting employer
- Prepare and disperse press releases
- Assist President/Director of Development in writing general content needed for various communications
- Assist President in sending out note cards for jobs starting and finishing
- Update Christmas card mailing list and distribution
- Update and disperse company newsletter
- Job site visits/communication with team to gather content (photos, info, etc.)

Internal Employee Support:
- Meet and greet clients and guests
- Answer phones - take and forward calls
- Maintain project awareness: job name, address, project manager and superintendent
- Shipping/Receiving (mail, FedEx, etc.)
- Support field staff with cell phone support including IBM Maas 360
- Provide host/agenda prep/note-taking support for company meetings and luncheons
- Maintain company disaster plan and communication
- Quality of Life: employee birthdays/anniversaries, office supplies, office break room, etc.
- Other duties as assigned

Wage and Benefits:
- $20 - $25, negotiable depending on experience
