Payroll Human Resources Coordinator Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and human resources practices. They will be responsible for accurately processing payroll, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for all employees on a timely basis
- Ensure accuracy of payroll data and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of all sensitive information
- Prepare payroll reports, including tax deductions and benefits contributions
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to payroll and human resources
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and other related matters
- Coordinate with HR team to onboard new employees, process terminations, and update employee information
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs
- Collaborate with finance team to reconcile payroll accounts and prepare financial reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing and human resources
- Knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and regulations
- Proficient in payroll software and MS Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- SHRM-CP or CPP certification a plus
