Workforce Enterprises is Hiring a CNC Lathe Operator Near Placentia, CA
We are seeking a CNC Lathe Operator to join our 1st Shift. We manufacture close tolerance, precision machined plastic parts, which are sold to customers in a variety of industries.
Job Purpose: Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Job Duties:
* Sets-up CNC lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads.
* Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
* Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. * Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
* Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience operating a CNC lathe (Mori Seki CNC Lathe with Fanuc Control is a plus). Setup experience a plus.
* Works well with others.
* Ability to read calipers and prints.
* English proficiency.
* Experience in an ISO-9001:2015 certified manufacturing facility.
Benefits: Full-time position. 1st Shift (7:00a – 3:30p). Compensation depending on experience. We offer competitive pay and benefits package, including group health and life insurance, with vacation, holiday and sick pay, as well as 401k and Profit Sharing. Equal Opportunity Employer.
