Woodcraft Supply, LLC is currently looking for an IT Support Manager to work in our Corporate Office located in Parkersburg, WV. The IT Support Manager’s responsibilities include assisting with Woodcraft’s retail point of sale system and daily maintenance of the Helpdesk. They will be assisting others in the IT department with the day-to-day management of Woodcraft’s IT infrastructure and software. The IT Support Manager should have a thorough understanding of IT technologies and point of sale operations in order to provide technical assistance and support for incoming issues related to Woodcraft’s computer systems, hardware, or software.

Education Requirements:

• Degree in computer science or related field.
• 5 years of proven experience as an IT professional or similar role.
• Experience in a customer support role.
• Relevant professional certifications will be an advantage.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Serve as the escalated support tier for users seeking IT related assistance over the phone, in person, via email and Teams.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for IT projects.
• Analyze, test and recommend hardware and software standardization and report back to management or developers with the findings.
• Perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
• Create and maintain comprehensive IT systems documentation.
• Train staff on new technologies.
• Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
• Record events and problems and their resolution in One Note.
• Utilize and add to the current internal knowledgebase with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.
