Job Description:
TMC provides Systems and Software Assurance Services to the NASA Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Program located in Fairmont, West Virginia. At the NASA Katherine Johnson IV&V Facility, we support NASA's IV&V Program, delivering analysis and verification & validation of safety-critical and mission-critical software for several important NASA programs, including both human and robotic exploration as well as earth and space science collection platforms.
The successful candidate will learn to work independently and as a member of a team in one or more of these IV&V projects or other IV&V Program functional areas.
Candidates will perform cyber development activities related to NASA software systems and analyze NASA software for mission security. Activities include developing cyber simulation software to demonstrate end to end mission system scenarios, vulnerability exploitation and mission impacts, and mission protection effectiveness. Candidates will perform tasks under close supervision and mentorship.
This can be a remote position with occasional trips to Fairmont, WV.

Job Requirements: *
Minimum Requirements*
B.S. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering/Electronical Engineering and 0-4 years’ experience
Experience in one or more of these disciplines: software analyses; software development/programming; software safety.
Familiar with Software Development Lifecycle.
Experience coding, testing, and analyzing JAVA.

Preferred Skills
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS)
Is a self-starter who can work independently, but who also functions well in a collaborative team environment.
Knowledge of agile practices.
Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
