The RFC is the primary liaison between the stores, both corp. and franchise, and the Woodcraft Corporate office. A Regional Field Consultant has two primary objectives in this role:

• Ensure Woodcraft Retail Stores, both Franchise and Corporate, are compliant with the standards set and are representative of the Woodcraft BRAND. Enforce policies, procedures and BRAND requirements as set forth in the Store Operations Manuals.
• The Regional Field Consultant is committed to helping storeowners, store managers and store employees, in any way, they possibly can, to develop and grow the revenues and profits of the business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Initial point of contact for POS & Backroom AX training and ongoing issues
• Ensure a quality customer shopping experience / positive relationship environment and atmosphere in store
• Verify store is compliant with standards of store appearance, employee appearance, merchandising standards
• Verify store is compliant in providing a safe work environment
• Verify store follows all required policies and procedures
• Verify store is compliant with required inventory standards
• If store is not compliant in any of above areas, provide direction and/or assistance to correct
• Share knowledge and info in all areas of Marketing, including retail events, print, electronic and social media activity
• Provide assistance in developing a Store Marketing plan
• Share knowledge and info in the area of Store Operations
• Assist as needed/requested in areas of inventory management, inclusive of, but not limited to: Order/receive merchandise, track inventory, handle invoices, auditing/cycle counts
• Make every attempt for two store visits per year to each store assigned and complete a store visit report recapping the visit. Copies go to store/owner/manager and one to RFC immediate supervisor
• Twice a year, RFC is required to conference, either by phone and/or in person, with storeowner, manager or both to review a Store Operations Report (SOR). The SOR recaps store performance in key areas of revenues, operations, and areas of marketing in effort to identify opportunities for the store. Copies of report go to store owner/manager and one to RFC immediate supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office
• Understanding of Point Of Sale Systems
• Retail experience with at least 3 years minimum retail management experience
• College graduate preferred
• Basic Woodworking or DYI knowledge
