JOB SUMMARY:

The front desk is one of the most important positions in the facility. It is at the front desk where patients and potential patients will form their first impression. The most effective and highly valued front desk employees are those who approach their position with a positive, compassionate demeanor, and who demonstrate organized, courteous professionalism at all times.
Front desk personnel require a minimum of a high school diploma. They will work under the supervision of the clinic administrator.

Front desk personnel are required to adhere to policies, procedures, and safety measures at all times.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Greet all patients and visitors with a positive, professional demeanor

Check in patients and prepare charts as applicable

Patient privacy and confidentiality must be a priority at all times.

Obtain photo ID from patients and their companion (s).

Verify minor parental notice if applicable

Give patients appropriate forms; advise what to complete and to return all forms to the front desk upon completion.

Complete other chart information.

Affix name, alphabet letters and date labels on patients chart.

Collect Patient Fees

Organize Completed Patient Charts

Determine that all forms are accounted for.

Monitor Reception Room

Be aware of any disruption or distraught patients

Empty trash receptacles at front desk, lobby and restroom

Shred papers as appropriate

Lobby area must appear neat, orderly and free of any trash

Perform office and printing supply inventories

Assist front desk co-workers whenever possible

Good PTO and Paid Holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
