Job Overview:

We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist/Patient Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental office setting and possess strong administrative skills. Must be comfortable with multi-tasking. Familiarity with dental records systems and knowledge of HIPAA regulations are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and checking office email
- Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality following HIPAA guidelines
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, data entry, and correspondence
- Utilize Dentrix dental software for patient scheduling and billing
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Manage phone systems efficiently and direct calls to the appropriate team member

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desired (ideally 2 years)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
