Wolfpack Construction LLC is Hiring an Estimator Near Orlando, FL

Wolfpack Construction is seeking a highly motivated, reliable and dynamic Estimator/Project Manager for our construction division helping our client's property after damage from fire, water and/or mold. Commercial or residential, our teams are dedicated to bringing their property back to its pre-loss condition or bring the customers vision to reality whether a ground-up build or additions.

Our ideal candidate works well under pressure, able to work on their own or as part of a team. Time management skills, organization, attention to detail and the ability to make the right decisions when they count. This position will include delivering outstanding customer service, meeting time and financial goals and assist in developing a well-functioning team. Experience in restoration reconstruction is ideal but not required.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams

  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficiency in using estimating software
  • Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
  • Basic understanding of all 16 CSI divisions preferred
  • Basic understanding of all plans including civil, landscape, architectural, structural, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and electrical preferred.
  • Ability to read schedules and estimate durations for milestone schedules
  • Industry certifications, including IICRC and Lead

Responsibilities

  • The Estimator’s role is to prepare different forms of proposals – negotiated, CMaR, competitive – both in the public and private sector
  • Meet operational objectives of: Sales, Gross Margin, Brand Experience
  • Communicate and document any change orders and insurance supplements
  • The Estimator will primarily be responsible for producing quality estimates and budgets
  • Responsible for managing the Preconstruction process for projects assigned
  • Responsible for reviewing all project documentation to establish RFI’s and questions
  • Responsible for reviewing project details with PCE and PCC’s to help solicit proper subcontractor coverage and/or utilize current staffing.
  • Produces detailed estimates, clarifications and scopes of work for projects
  • Communicates with key subcontractors and superintendent throughout the bid process
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to financial goals.
  • Actively reviews scope and quantity information with subcontractors.
  • Identifies and resolves design conflicts and missing information
  • Reviews scope changes and addenda and makes any adjustments to the estimate
  • Reviews estimate, clarifications and strategy with Superintendent
  • Creates final proposal package and submits to the Owner
  • Spearheads transfer meetings with Operations/Sales team on successfully awarded projects
  • Prepares budgets from preliminary plans
  • Understands and prepares front end bid documents including but not limited to bid forms, bid bonds, minority participation requirements and corporate documents and questionnaires
  • Conduct thorough on-site assessments of disaster-affected properties to determine the extent of damage and restoration requirements. Review site plans to assess the size and difficulty of the project to determine building requirements.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for restoration, renovations and/or ground up projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and any additional resources required.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to financial goals.
  • Maintain detailed records of project assessments, estimates, and all related documentation.
  • Interact with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to provide clear and transparent project estimates and updates.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure that restoration projects meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance estimating processes.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience: B.S. in Construction Management, public adjuster or related engineering discipline preferred. 5 years of experience in a Preconstruction/construction role preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast paced environment. Superior communication and organization development skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Proven ability to lead people. Strong computer skills. Having experience with insurance claims and Xactimate is a plus.
