Role Summary:

As the Director of Merchant Partnership, you will play a key role in managing and expanding our strategic merchant partnerships. Your main focus will be to manage strategic relationships with the top merchants in each vertical, identifying opportunities to drive mutual growth while leveraging our industry leading technology to improve the customer experience. You will engage with aggregators, B2B clients and other stakeholders to find creative ways to drive growth and lifetime value for our merchant partners. You will also be a key stakeholder and liaison for merchant-related issues within The Wolfe Companies.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead partnerships with top Wolfe merchants currently on our company platforms
  • Manage day to day relationship with key aggregators while collaborating on strategies to increase volume and improve profitability
  • Identify and secure promotional opportunities with key Merchant and aggregator partners than can be utilized on B2B partner sites and the Wolfe Companies websites
  • Solicit, pitch and acquire new merchant partners for the Wolfe websites
  • Determine approach and drive execution for establishing direct API connections with appropriate merchants
  • Educate and inform Merchant community as to the Wolfe Companies capabilities and competitive advantages. Identify inroads to providing new services and technology.
  • Manage and resolve day to day merchant related issues that impact internal and/or external stakeholders
  • Develop reporting and KPR's to consistently monitor Merchant performance and identify opportunities
  • Stay informed on industry trends to help inform product development and improve our ability to service merchants and their consumers
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years experience in the gifting and corporate incentives industry
  • Strong communicator with meaningful experience in Merchant partnerships and management
  • Proven track record for securing new merchants, working with aggregators and building strategic partnerships
  • Meaningful network within the merchant and gifting community
  • Familiarity with the technical aspects of the gifting process including applications, customer interfaces, fulfillment and funds flow
  • Values driven executive who prioritizes the team and the company vision above personal/professional gain
  • Intellectually curious and excited about bringing innovation to the gifting space
  • Confident and informed when dealing with strategic partners, but humble, coachable and receptive to feedback from others
