Wohali Builders is Hiring a People and Culture Manager Near Coalville, UT

Wohali is a fast-growing real estate development and private ultra-luxury community in its start-up phase comprising of our own construction team and the imminent introduction of our resort services. We are looking for a People and Culture Manager who acts as a key business partner to the General Manager and the senior management team. As a People and Culture/HR business partner/manager, the team member will play a critical role in shaping, driving and supporting the implementation of our people strategy. The business partner/manager will collaborate with leadership, managers and team members to create an engaging work environment that fosters growth, continuous development and improvement, consistency, continuity with a focus of highest levels of service.

In conjunction with the leadership team, ensures that all HR initiatives are aligned to business objectives, implementing and leading innovative people focused initiatives and practices within the HR operation. The role will advise on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefit, training, development, performance management, budgets and labor relations.

Being part of a start-up team, given the influential nature of this role on the development of our people, our culture, our teams and the company as a whole, we believe it is essential for the People and Culture Manager to be on site to embrace our company, its teams and the community we are building.

HR operations:

  • Work closely with GM on the overall people development strategies
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure HR procedures, policies and documentations are implemented, adhered to and continuously improved
  • Ensure the effective usage of an HR management system including time attendance/payroll management
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment efforts, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, while adhering to industry-specific regulations.
  • Manage all activities related to discipline and performance administration and employment data management
  • Lead and manage all international recruitment
  • Responsible for the accurate maintenance and safeguarding of all information used in the HR systems including but not limited to payroll and personal data
  • Handle employee relations matters with sensitivity and professionalism, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Engage in initiatives to ensure all employees feel valued and respected.

Learning and development:

  • Drive and support leaders in training content development, identify training needs for all levels and positions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver training programs, workshops, and other learning opportunities to support employee development
  • Support the GM in the development of succession planning, career development planning for high potential team members and managers

Compensation and benefits:

  • Ensure all compensation and benefits are aligned with luxury and local markets.
  • Implement Wohali policies in conjunction with local policies for salaries, benefits and incentives

Employee communication, accommodation and transportation:

  • Manage all communication of all key messages, business strategies, vision and values across the company
  • Promote open and transparent communication and set in place platforms for open feedback
  • Lead the implementation and manage an employee recognition and employee appreciation program
  • Supervise and coordinate all matters of employee accommodation and transportation needs as per Wohali standards
