The Starter is the face and voice of the daily golf experience at Wohali. A successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of golf culture and etiquette and a friendly, assured demeanor. Wohali’s attitude as an employer is to make your workplace enjoyable, productive and worthwhile.

Please note that this position is fully on-site and in Coalville so one must have their own reliable transportation.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of golf etiquette, culture and its current events
• Ability to speak in front of small groups throughout the day with confidence
• Able to accurately record, track and share notes for daily charging
• High School graduate required, college graduate preferred

Starter duties:

• Accompany each group to the starting area on the first hole
• Accurately record details of each group as a record for charging fees
• Offer supplies to golfers and make sure that these supplies are adequately stocked throughout the day
• Make sure golfers understand tee box choices and what the course conditions are for the day
• Inform each group of on course facilities such as restrooms, food/beverage outlets
• Visually monitor progress and positions of each group and relay that information to Golf Professional staff as they approach clubhouse from holes 9 or 18.
• Communicate obstacles/solutions as necessary to each affected group
• Assist with valet and golf operations as directed
