Cook Responsibilities
To be a successful cook, a person should have a base knowledge and appreciation of cooking. You should be efficient and detail-oriented with providing consistent food quality representative of the Straub’s brand.
- Read & follow recipes using basic cooking techniques
- Read & execute daily production list
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment.
- Maintain a sanitary work station
- Practice safe food handling procedures
- Perform basic knife skills
- Break down, clean and sanitize work station at the end of your shift
- Able to read & understand basic cooking measurements including weights and volume
- Perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by supervisors and managers, substituting for absent workers and performing any additional tasks necessary to provide products and services to customers during peak periods of business.
