Job Summary:
A Refrigeration Technician works with our customers and internal team to support proper installation and general service of refrigeration systems. They provide effective guidance while troubleshooting systems and offer reliable solutions.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
· · Install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration units and other equipment as necessary.
· · Troubleshoot malfunctioning refrigeration and other equipment to determine the cause of malfunction.
· · Repair, troubleshoot and replace various valves and industry systems.
· · Check distribution systems for proper velocity, volume, temperature, pressure, etc.
· · Provide technical assistance with the design of systems including installations and modifications to existing systems.
· · Complete preventive maintenance of systems and maintenance services as directed.
· · Prepare, record and report describing procedures, actions taken and recommended solutions.
· · Knowledge of pertinent rules and regulations, guidelines, safety orders, departmental operating procedures and safety regulations sufficient to ensure that work is performed in compliance with applicable law.
· · Follows safety rules/procedures; avoid known hazards in the work environment.
· · Responds to emergency calls and to be in the on-call rotation.
· · All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· HVACR License preferred or able to acquire a license in a reasonable amount of time.
· 5 – 7 years of progressively responsible experience working with HVACR systems and equipment.

Physical Requirements
· Able to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb ladders use hands to finger, handle or fell and reach with hands and arms, bend and kneel for long periods of time up to eight (8) hours.
· Must possess a valid State driver’s license or can obtain one prior to employment.
· Must be able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including electronic and diagnostic tools, recovery equipment and other HVACR equipment.
· Ability to focus and to differentiate between colors and shades of color.
· Must be able to navigate a construction site to conduct safety checks following OSHA guidelines and on uneven terrain.
· Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
