Wisper Internet is expanding. With offices located in Illinois and Missouri, we are a leading wireless high-speed internet provider in the Midwest. We provide reliable service, focusing on rural and outlying communities.

Inside Sales Representative

Schedule: Availability Monday-Friday 8 AM-8 PM; Rotating Saturday shift 9 AM-5 PM

Pay: $15/hour base Commission

This position is eligible for Hybrid home/office schedule--regular in-office work/attendance is required up to 3 days per week. Candidate must lived within one hour's driving distance from the local office

**Internet connection requirements for remote work include speeds exceeding 25 Mbps down and 3 Mbps up (Satellite and/or cellular connection are not sufficient)

Inside Sales Representative

Wisper Internet is seeking a full-time non-exempt Inside Sales Representative to join our Sales & Marketing Team. In this role, the primary responsibility will be to connect with potential and/or existing customers by building rapport, delivering solutions and closing sales for Wisper. Inside Sales reps provide product knowledge about Wisper services and products as they work to build strong relationships within the communities where Wisper provides service.

Essential Job Functions

  • Answer incoming calls/emails from potential &/or existing customers looking for new or upgraded Wisper services
  • Make outbound calls to potential leads &/or existing customers
  • Stay current with Wisper's product & service information & updates
  • Explain, educate & demonstrate features of products & services to find the right solution for the customer
  • Upsell Wisper products & services
  • Stay informed about competing products & services
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Other duties as directed

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Strong drive to close sales & achieve goals
  • Communicate effectively via phone, email & message systems
  • Telecom or relatable industry experience preferred
  • Effectively explain service offerings
  • Demonstrate personal accountability; be punctual for appointments & meetings
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office & similar software packages
  • Be a team player with a collaborative & positive attitude
  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to multitask
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong listening skills
  • 1 year of phone-based sales experience

Working Conditions

  • Fast-paced environment with multiple changes to schedules & fluctuating priorities
  • Work is performed primarily inside an office at a desk

Physical Requirements: X-Light: Lifting 0-10 lbs. Moderate: Lifting 0-25 lbs. Heavy: Lifting 25 lbs.

This position requires a pre-employment Background Check and Drug Screen. All employment offers are contingent upon the results of the background check and drug screen.
