Duties:
- Supervise a team of 3-7 team members
- Ensure shipments' and inventory transactions' accuracy
- Achieve 100% customer satisfaction
- 100% on time delivery
- 100% satisfaction of quality standards
- 100% correct sequencing
- Focus on continual improvement and operational efficiency through excellence in receiving, identifying, inspecting, and assurance of quality and inventory control of inbound and outbound shipments
- Measure and report the effectiveness of activities and employees performance
- Communicate job expectations and coach employees
- Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
- Maintain records, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
- Review and communicate changes needed to established Work Instructions (WIS) as needed; continually analyze for areas to improve existing processes
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
- Set clear team goals
- Oversee day-to-day operation
- Discover training needs and provide coaching
- Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
- Ensure the safety of the team members assigned to your area of responsibility
- Ensure defects are within company standards as well as all other key performance indicators
- Ensure all team members are following the posted work instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized the working areas following 5S
- Must pass a drug screen and Nationwide background check
- Must be flexible to work any schedule, and potential daily overtime and some weekends
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
- Ability to speak, read, and write English required
- Basic math skills required
- Verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, stoop for 8-12 hour shifts
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled area (where applicable)
- Minimum 2 years fork truck experience
- Minimum 2 years leadership experience
- Ability to follow written work instructions
