We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our Central Health team. The Instructional Designer will play a crucial role in designing and developing engaging and effective learning experiences that align with organizational objectives and enhance the skills and knowledge of our team members. This role requires a strong understanding of instructional design principles, a flair for creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively.
Responsibilities:Essential Functions
Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs and design comprehensive curriculum, courses, and learning materials that meet defined learning objectives.
Apply instructional design methodologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences, including eLearning modules, videos, webinars, and other digital and traditional formats.
Develop multimedia content, including graphics, animations, audio, and interactive elements, to enhance the learning experience and promote learner engagement.
Define clear learning objectives and outcomes for each learning experience, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and learner needs.
Craft compelling narratives and scenarios to contextualize learning content and make it relevant to learners' real-world challenges.
Design formative and summative assessments to measure learner progress and knowledge retention. Analyze assessment data to refine learning materials.
Utilize eLearning authoring tools, graphic design software, and multimedia applications to create visually appealing and interactive learning content.
Review and edit learning materials for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to design standards.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in instructional design, eLearning, and digital learning platforms.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts and LMS administrators, to ensure seamless development and delivery of learning content.
Essential Functions
Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Seek feedback from learners and stakeholders to continuously improve learning materials and incorporate best practices.
Education
Bachelor's Degree Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education or related field. Required
Master's Degree Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education or related field. Preferred
Work Experience
1 year One (1) year of experience in adult learning theory, instructional design and elearning development. Required
4 years Four (4) years of experience in adult learning theory, instructional design and elearning development in healthcare delivery.
