Job Title: Instructional Designer/Trainer

Duration: 6 months

Location: Austin, TX Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with global teams to assess training content needs and ensure consistency in materials.
• Develop comprehensive resources for the training team, including training modules, facilitator guides, scripts, and answer keys.
• Create self-service resources and references for trainees, including recorded off-the-shelf training materials.
• Develop content for skill validation and assessments for various training modules.
• Design and maintain content using approved templates and formatting guidelines.
• Work with the extended training team and key partners to establish an effective framework for storing and accessing training content.
• Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
• Facilitate functional training sessions as needed, providing technical training and support to new team members.
• Provide detailed observations on trainee progress to the training team.

Key Qualifications:

• 5 years of instructional design experience, with a focus on writing curriculum and delivering training content in the tech industry for a global audience.
• Experience supporting customer-facing teams or roles.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and techniques.
• Expertise in course facilitation.
• Excellent multitasking, writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with multimedia tools such as Keynote, HTML, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Articulate Storyline, and Final Cut Pro.
• Experience with Content Management Systems and Learning Management Systems is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience. A degree in Human Resources is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work on problems of diverse scope and exercise discretion and judgment in determining the appropriate course of action.
• Proven track record of building productive working relationships internally and externally.
