Position Summary :
The Staff Accountant will work with the Finance team to support the accounting operations of the company. This position will collaborate with multiple departments to develop necessary accounting and financial reports to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Responsibilities Include :

• Compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts and to document business transactions
• Perform month and year end closing activities to the general ledger
• Assist in the processing of payroll, the reconciliation of all payroll deductions for various benefits and payroll taxes and the related tax filings.
• Assist in the preparation of costs reports, budgets and/or financial forecasts
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Agency's systems through the timely completion of the assigned documentation in accordance with applicable legal, fiscal, licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other business school degree is required
• Minimum three years of experience
• Experience with Microsoft GP and other Microsoft software is preferred
