ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Operates company vehicle and completes morning pick up of incoming mail and delivery of afternoon outgoing mail at the Apple Valley Post Office.
• Receive, process and distribute all incoming and outgoing inter-office, US Postal Service mail, FedEx and UPS mail packages. 
• Process all outgoing internal supply orders by organizing, packaging, and shipping the products as requested.
• Complete member requests for credit union products, ensuring the most current compliance disclosures are included in all outgoing items.
• Operate mail folding and inserting machine to complete mailouts for departments.
• Coordinate the intake of dock deliveries at the Apple Valley location by communicating with vendors and delivery services.
• Use mobile devices to image, process and log all incoming packages.
• Place service calls and schedule routine maintenance for equipment and vehicle.
• Process returned mail as bad address in the Miser system.
• Process time sensitive daily outgoing certified mail using electronic return receipt.
• Track, trace and resolve mail problems with USPS and package delivery services.
• Assist with inventory management by making periodic assessments of inventory and placing orders as needed using multiple software systems. Ensure available stock matches inventory listed in the current inventory system and inform your leader of any discrepancies.

EDUCATION, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:  

• High school diploma required.
• 1 year mailroom operations experience preferred.
• Daily local travel, valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Act with a sense of urgency to address any issues that arise and engage teams to assist with resolution.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, reliability, and personal accountability.
• Ability to work alone.
• Experience and ability to use a tablet and smartphone.
• Ability to be flexible with schedule to work different days Mon-Fri as needed.
