We are growing and looking for a highly motivated dental assistant to add to our dental team. We are a cosmetic and general dentistry practice located at the border of Sugarland and Richmond.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients to the dental office
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed
• Take radiographs
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Taking impressions, pouring models, and sending out lab work
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Schedule appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
• Attend marketing events to promote the practice

Core Competencies

• Dental assistant experience
• CPR Certification
• Prior knowledge of Open Dental software is a plus, but not required
• Bi-lingual preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
