RESIDENTIAL LIFE ASSISTANT - (FULL TIME HOURLY)

Supervisor: Director of Residential Life

SCHEDULE:

Sunday 12pm-8pm, Monday-Thursday 1:30pm-9:30pm

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times
• Provide student support and guidance
• Provide corrective feedback and accountability to students/staff
• Monitor and enforce safety plans and school policies as needed
• Monitor REACH
• Build and maintain relationships with students, staff, and parents
• Fill in for Dorm Parents as needed
• Attend necessary meetings
• Occasionally drive a van to shuttle students to activities or run errands for Res Life
• Any other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Leading bus departures fro school Monday-Thursday, which may include driving an 11 passenger van
• Managing main desk coverage 4:00pm-7:30pm

- Checking students in and out on school system (REACH)

- Mail

- Being the first face that parents, hosts and students greet when entering ResLife

- Communicating with Security Guard throughout shift

• Assistance in training new part-time dorm parents
• Facilitating study hall from 8-9:30pm Monday-Thursday
• Participate in ResLife events and activities on campus

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2 years of experience in residential life preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Bilingual preferred
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to go up and down stairs several times a day
• Ability to carry loads 25lbs and more
