Winco Window Company is Hiring a Cost Estimator Near University, MO

Winco Windows is currently looking to hire a full-time Quotation Specialist/Cost Estimator.
The successful applicant will be able to:
  • Receive and review Requests for Quotes received from Sales Rep.
  • Produce an accurate and timely Quote.
  • Work with Internal and External sources to obtain missing information.
  • Meet deadlines and stay focused on multiple jobs in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Have the ability to clearly communicate with co-workers and sales representatives to resolve issues.
  • Ensure any changes are documented and proper signatures are obtained.
  • Ensure all job information is received and entered into the system accurately.
  • Other duties as directed by the Estimating Manager.
Requirements:
  • Good math aptitude.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Computer literate in a windows based environment (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, need to work on and track multiple jobs in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Be able to effectively work with both internal and external contacts.
  • Able to work independently as well as be a team player.
  • Positive attitude.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to read architectural drawings, blueprints, or take-offs.
  • Window or construction experience is a plus.
  • Associate’s degree preferred or related work experience.
  • Customer service experience is a plus.
Education:
  • Associate’s degree preferred or related work experience.
Physical Demands:
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle and talk, and hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop or crouch.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
  • This is a full-time position.
  • Non-Exempt with no supervisory responsibility.
  • Hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 8 hours per day.
  • Overtime as needed.
Working Conditions:
  • This position is an office position with no travel or fieldwork.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position has no supervisory duties.
