Wilson Bank & Trust is Hiring a Credit Analyst I Near Lebanon, TN
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide support of loan officers and managers through financial statement spreading and analysis of new loan requests and existing credit relationships.
- Prepare cash flow models for the basis of credit decisions.
- Prepare basic and preliminary credit analyses to aid in determining the viability of a potential credit opportunity, with supervision of Senior Credit Analyst or Credit Analyst III.
- Thoroughly analyze commercial credits of up to $15 million in total aggregate credit exposure to the Bank.
- Provide on-going portfolio management through spreading of on-going required financial statements as they are received from the Bank’s customers.
- Develop a base understanding of the various types of lending products/facilities offered by the bank as well as a variety of companies and industries the bank serves.
- Ensure all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- BS/BA Degree in Business, Finance or a related field is required.
- Entry level position, although 1-2 years of financial industry experience preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret personal and business financial statements and related tax returns.
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Financial Spreading Software
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
