The role of the Asst. Service Manager is to help the Service Manager manage and direct the operation of a Retail Automotive Repair Facility engaged in selling tires, related automotive parts, and mechanical services. This position ensures compliance to all company policies and procedures for automotive services. This position must exemplify the highest level of customer service and professional integrity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Report directly to the Service Manager and act as an extension of the Service Manager when the Service manager is not available.
Maintain daily/store operation paperwork including close of day, inventory management, returns.
Help hire, train, manage, and lead technicians
Be able to discuss situations with employees in a professional and positive manner.
Maintain company policies, procedures and ensure the security and safety of the facility and employees.
Demonstrate and promote excellent customer service every day. Assist in supervising repair and maintenance quality.
Explain service recommendations and options to service advisors and assist with customers when needed.
Maintain a professional appearance.
Maintain a professional appearance of their assigned location.
Sell company promotions.
Must complete a minimum of four hours of continuing education per year.
Set a positive example for all employees.
