Williamsport North Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking Dietary Aides!

New Rate: $13.50 per hour (potential to earn up to $15.50 per hour-ask me how)

Hours: Days 6:15am-2:15pm rotating shift w/weekends. Must have strong food service experience; Evening: 4:30pm-7:30pm including weekends.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Food service or the Assistant Food Director, the Dietary Aide works in the kitchen assisting in the preparation and service of food and follows a cleaning schedule. The service of food may include the transporting of food trays to the nursing units.

Job Duties:

  • Prepares and/or assists in preparation of meals, snacks, and beverages
  • Responsible for or assists in assembling trays, cleaning, and storage of supplies and equipment
  • Continuously cleans food service work areas as food preparation and service is done
  • Labels nourishment and sends or transports them to resident floors
  • Handles, stores, and disposes of food supplies and prepares food in accord with department procedures and in compliance with state and federal regulation
  • Follows facility policies and procedures for infection control at all times to maintain sanitary preparation and storage areas

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
