Wild Waves Theme & Waterpark is Hiring a Security Team Member Near Federal Way, WA
PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position is responsible for the operation of Security functions including bag checks as guests enter the park, assist guests with lost children or items, monitoring the Employee Gate, parking lot patrols and re-entry gate.
To ensure each of our guests are given the best possible service in a prompt and friendly manner.
To ensure the highest quality of service is given at all times.
SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
18 years of age.
Prior security experience a plus.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with guests, co-workers and management.
Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Service: Provide friendly and helpful service to guests. Abide by all guest service standards and code of conduct guidelines established in the Team Member handbook.
Safety: Wild Waves Theme & Water Park is a Safety-First workplace; the promotion of a safe working environment and elimination of safety hazards is a key function of all positions.
Teamwork: Employees must work together towards the common goals of the Park while maintaining a respectful and efficient work environment.
Cleanliness: Keep the work location and the Park clean and sanitary for Guests, as well as fellow employees. Cleaning duties may require standing, stooping, and bending to pick up trash and debris and the use of cleaning tools and chemicals.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSILIBITIES
Bag Check: Greet guests, check all bags to ensure that outside food, beverages, and prohibited items do not enter the park.
Employee Gate: Greet employees, perform bag and time slip checks.
Guest Incidents: Assist the Security Manager and FWPD with issues pertaining to theft, ticket scalping, lost items and inter-guest conflicts. Maintain professionalism with regards to sensitive and confidential information.
Lost Children: Respond to Guest Relations or a specific location in the park in a timely manner when a lost child is reported and help the lost child reunite with their party.
Parking Lot Patrol: Responsible for walking the general & employee parking lots to ensure safety and responding to incidents as appropriate.
Closing Procedures: Responsible for clearing and securing the park at the end of operation day.
Documentation: Ensure prompt completion of incident documentation and submitted to the Security Manager daily
EAP Duties: Knowledge of EAP responsibilities as detailed in the Emergency Action Procedures.
Special Events: Provide event-specific security for special events and holiday promotions.
Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Front Gate area, the general park and Security back areas.
Other Duties as Assigned: Additional duties may be assigned based on the needs of the department and the park.
