We are looking for a driven and compassionate Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our healthcare team. As a PCT, you will assist with personal care, offer companionship, and help maintain a clean and safe living environment for our patients. 

Responsibilities

• Keeping patient rooms clean and organized.
• Monitoring patient health and measuring vital signs.
• Maintaining accurate patient records.
• Assisting the healthcare team with administering treatments.
• Collecting liquid samples or specimens for testing.
• Performing basic nursing procedures such as administering medications.
• Reporting any changes in patient's conditions to a registered nurse or physician.
• Providing emotional support and assisting patients with basic needs such as dietary intake, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Maintaining close communication with the patient's healthcare team.
• Assisting with the educating of patients' relatives regarding the required care.

Qualifications

• Professional attitude and demeanor
• 18 years old and above
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• The ability to meet the physical and emotional needs of the client
• Ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• CPR and First Aid certifications encouraged
