POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Our company is seeking an experienced Account Executive with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. In this role, you'll manage a substantial portfolio, acting as a strategic liaison overseeing service delivery, renewal preparation, and marketing. Providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service to clients is paramount, along with proactive support for obtaining, expanding, and maintaining commercial accounts. Collaborating with producers, you'll foster client relationships and ensure an outstanding client experience, driving retention. Deep insurance knowledge across multiple carriers is essential, as is the ability to connect on a personal level, aiming to deliver a WOW experience that cultivates lifelong client relationships.

DAY IN THE LIFE OF:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers to ensure long term consistent business growth.
  • Own the new business process from start to finish.
  • Designs, develops, and delivers sales proposals and presentations on product benefits.
  • Respond to client inquiries and requests to resolve any related account issues.
  • Review commercial applications, policies, endorsements, audits, cancellations, and reinstatements for completeness and accuracy.
  • Own the renewal process from start to finish. Proactively analyze client’s insurance needs by identifying risk exposures and analyzing and classifying risks to provide optimum coverage, costs, and claims settlements.
  • Analysis of claims data to provide clients with insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Use expert knowledge and written communication skills to remarket client accounts with insurance carriers that will give the client the top solution and price.
  • Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
  • Receive escalation phone calls from clients and companies regarding insurance, claims, administrative problems, and comply with the request.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • A strong understanding of insurance products, policies, and coverage options, particularly in commercial lines.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and team members.
  • A deep understanding of industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics in commercial insurance.
  • Aptitude for identifying and addressing client concerns, resolving issues, and finding solutions to complex insurance scenarios.
  • Typical years’ experience in field of 5 years.
  • Typically holds Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Skills/Specialties include Account Management, Client Interaction, Customer Relations, Customer Service, Insurance. Certifications include Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance agent.
