Job Title: Sales Account Executive

Location: Wilmington, NC

(This is a hybrid role, but will require being in our downtown office several times per week.)

Salary: $50,000 with commission

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Account Executive to join our team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in marketing and software sales. The ideal candidate should be an exceptional “people person” who is hungry to help scale this company to new heights. We’re looking for someone who can expand our client base through proactive outreach, relationship building, and high-quality service delivery. We’re especially interested in confident sales candidates who know they can back up their skills with real results.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales:
  • Establish and maintain sales goals by closing new deals on a monthly basis, and tracking those deals using our sales system.
  • Attend networking and community events to build new relationships locally.
  • Visit local businesses to offer in-person demos and potentially land new accounts.
  • Perform cold calling and send cold sales emails to potential clients.
  • Conduct sales meetings with leads, either in-person or online, and demo our software, websites, and marketing plans.
  • Create proposals and monitor acceptance status.
  • Negotiate proposals as required with leads.
  • Account Management:
  • Transition proposals into actionable tasks using our project management dashboard.
  • Assign daily tasks to cross-functional team members, and check in on progress throughout the week.
  • Maintain existing customer relationships with weekly touch points, offering updates on any projects in progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, particularly outbound sales.
  • Proven track record in the marketing and software sales industry.
  • Familiarity with using online tools such as Slack, Google Meet, Zoom, GSuite, etc.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
