Responsibilities:
-Job Summary:
Lead and direct the delivery of non-clinical resident care, ensuring exceptional quality and services while maintaining compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and Wickshire’s mission, policies, procedures and standards.
Essential Functions:
1. Develop, monitor, and adjust work schedules for the Assisted Living team to ensure adequate staffing to meet Wickshire service standards and regulatory requirements; ensure appropriate resources to deliver outstanding resident care while effectively manage salary expense.
2. Partner with the Health & Wellness Director to create and update unique resident service plans for Assisted Living residents and to identify and proactively respond to changes in condition and service needs.
3. Maintain continuous and proactive communications with residents’ family members to promote open dialogue and timely sharing of important information; serve as a first point of contact for Assisted Living resident and family questions and concerns.
4. Conduct one-on-one, and spontaneous coaching and training to associates throughout the community to promote best in class delivery of service and care to residents.
5. Order and maintain inventory of health-related supplies and equipment for residents.
6. Finds coverage for shift call-outs.
7. Contacts EMS (911) for resident emergencies and coordinates documents for transfer.
8. Partner with the Health & Wellness Director in hiring and properly staffing the Care Department.
9. Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and Wickshire’s mission policies, procedures and standards.
10. Completes all mandatory compliance, HIPAA and state and federal regulatory training as required.
11. Maintains appropriate degree of confidentiality.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. 3-5 years of Resident care experience preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, and other Special Requirements:
Maintain state licensing requirements, where applicable.

2. Possess the ability to handle complex issues.
3. Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills.
4. Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel and Outlook).

7. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
