White oak manor is Hiring a RN Supervisor- 1st Shift Near Charlotte, NC
White Oak Manor of Charlotte is a 180-bed Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility located near uptown Charlotte in the Oakhurst area.
We are seeking an experienced Full-time RN Supervisor to join our Nurse Leadership team! This position is for first shift, Monday-Friday.
Key responsibilities for RN Supervisor:
- Coordinating patient care plans by liaising with all necessary care providers and medical professions to ensure patient needs are met
- Coordination with other staff members regarding patient care, for admitting and discharging patients, coordinating follow-up appointments and referring patients to specialists as needed
- Leading ways to improve the quality of patient care provided by the facility
- Creating efficient systems and workflows
- Attending departmental meetings and staying up to date on business initiatives
- Collecting and inputting patient data, insurance information, and financial information into computer system
- Experience with budgeting to ensure that the facility is well-equipped to provide quality service
- Meeting with patients and patient families to ensure their needs are being met and resolving any issues or concerns that may arise
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse in NC
- 5 years of proven success in leadership roles
- Excellent computer skills
- Superior interpersonal communication skills and the ability to exercise empathy when working with patients and their families
- Strong organizational and time management skills, competing priorities are common in this position
- Demonstrate an understanding of standard clinical procedures, NC laws and long-term care regulations
- Thorough knowledge of medical terminology
