Purpose of position: oversee material handling, accuracy of orders picked, routing and loading our delivery trucks as wells as organize, motivate and lead a team of warehouse employees. This is a hands-on position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain the overall safety, quality and performance standards within the facility.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy of the inventory.
• Ensure operation stays within budget and operates efficiently.
• Effectively services internal and external customers.
• Ensure that the distribution center complies with all local, state and federal laws. Including DOT, EEOC and OSHA.
• Picking multi line orders
• Wrapping orders
• Quality assurance
• Staging and loading orders onto trucks
• Cleanliness of warehouse

Qualifications:

• Operate a standup Raymond 4 Directional forklift.
• Be able to read, write and communicate in English effectively.
• Perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Read a tape measure.
• Experience jockeying commercial vehicles including tractor trailers
• Be able to stand for extensive periods.
• Be able to bend over, reach upwards or outwards, twist, turn around and climb up.
• Be able to perform job tasks repetitiously at a very fast pace.
• Be able to maintain regular, predictable attendance.
• Be able to lift heavy objects, 50 – 100 lbs with and without assistance.
